Official ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Pathway
Hot Shots Guidelines
Tennis Australia's national junior pathway. Modified balls, racquets and courts so kids can rally, score and love the game from day one.
Blue Stage
Ages 3–5
First touches. Foam balls, mini court, fun games to build coordination.
Red Stage
Ages 5–8
Red low-compression ball on an 11m x 6m court. Rally, score and play.
Orange Stage
Ages 8–10
Orange ball on an 18m x 10.97m court. Develop technique and tactics.
Green Stage
Ages 10+
Green dot ball on a full-size court. Bridge to yellow ball and competition.
